Orders are marked as completed when the order has been handed off to the customer. This is the last order status.
This status is important because it:
- Informs the customer that the order has been dropped off or picked up
- Helps you keep track of all the orders that you completed
- Allows customers to leave you a review or request a refund.
You must fulfill and charge the order before you mark it as completed. Once the order is marked as completed you can no longer edit the order status or charge the order. For more information on charging orders please go to the article How to charge an order.
You can mark an order as completed in 2 different ways.
1. If you use the Delivery/ Pick Up tools, you can mark the order as completed in: On Farm Pick Ups, Pick Up Locations, or Daily Delivery Routes.
- In "On Farm Pick Ups" you can click on the order to mark it as "Order picked up" or "Order not picked up".
- For Pick up locations that are not on your farm, go to "Pick Up". After selecting "Start pick up location" you can mark each order as "Order picked up" or "Order not picked up".
- For delivery orders, when you "start delivery" you can mark each order as "complete delivery" or "Not able to deliver".
If you select "Order picked up" or "complete delivery" the order will be marked as completed. If you choose the other option, the order will be marked as incomplete. At this point, you are finished with the order.
2. If you do not use the Delivery/Pick Up tools, you must mark the orders as completed from the Orders List. For example, let's say you use your own system for deliveries and finished all the deliveries for today. Once you return home, you must go to the Orders List to mark them as completed (again, make sure you charge the order before marking it as complete).
- If you want to mark more than one order as completed go to Orders List and check mark all the orders you wish to mark as completed. Then click "edit status" and choose "completed". If you are marking all the orders from a specific route or pick up location, try filtering by "delivery" or "pick up". If you dropped off the orders that were fulfilled and charged, try filtering by "Status".
- If you want to mark only one order as completed. Click the order you wish to mark to be taken to the order details. On the Order details page, click the three dots in the upper right hand corner, choose edit order status, and select "completed".
