Use your storefront and media to show your brand so customers can get to know you and see what sets your business apart. Customers are more likely to buy from brands they feel connected to, which is easy to do in person, but now it's easy to do online too! We offer several ways for you to share information with the Navore community, we hope that you take the time to give your customers some authentic insight into who you are – the accomplishments as well as the challenges.
Set Up
Start setting up your storefront in “storefront settings”. Products > Storefront Settings > Store Settings
- In your store settings you can add your farm or business’ story, a profile picture, and a customized thank you note that will be sent to your customers after they order.
- Add the seasonality of your products to give your customers a general idea of what products you have throughout the year. Products > Storefront Settings > Seasonality
- Next, go to your media page. Add a few photos to your gallery so customers can see a little more about your business.
- Add a post to the news to let customers know you are getting started!
How Best to Use Each Feature
Storefront Settings
- Add a profile picture of your logo or a portrait that will be shown on your storefront and news postings
- Add a main Header image. Select an image that represents your store best. This image will be customers first impression of your store, so make sure it’s a high quality image you are proud of
- Add a thank you note that customers will receive when they place an order
- Write your story: Write the story of yourself or your business and how/why you started
- About the products: Write a description to show off how your products are unique
Seasonality
- Add the seasonality of your products so your customers know what to look forward to. If they see something they will want in the future, you will probably gain a new follower
Recipes
- Plug in a few of your favorite recipes to show off how best to use your products. It makes it even more tempting to purchase! Our recipe feature allows you to highlight which ingredients you currently have in stock. Add new recipes for products that are in stock so that when customers see the recipe, they can add the items directly to their cart.
Gallery
- Use your gallery to post photos of how your products are made, the people who make it possible and more. Just post like you would on other photo-sharing sites! The people browsing your gallery are here because they are invested in your story and success, this is a great way to show them the inner workings of your business and help them feel connected.
- Best part! If customers send in photos, you can repost them to your gallery so it's easy to add free, fun content and get customers engaged
News
- Share updates about new products, deals, or events with your customers. The customers who follow you will get notified and see it as soon as they log in
- Repost your favorite customer reviews so your other customers can see how popular you and your products are
- Use the news feature to promote your business and keep customers coming back to your store
- In addition to posting all of your good news, we encourage you to also post about the challenges you face. We want our customers to be educated on all aspects of the local food system, so if you have a crop failure, pest pressure, or weather-related issues, this is the place to share your authentic experience with our community
