Go to the orders tab. Select Delivery Plans under order settings. Orders > Order Settings > Delivery Plans
- Add a “zone name” that is used internally as a reference
- Choose a location for your delivery: you can choose by entering a city, county etc., or a zip code.
- Choose “order cutoff” which is the time before delivery day when you no longer accept orders or the time you need to prepare an order before this delivery day. Remember to include time for harvesting, pre-packing, and packing.
- Select cancellation cutoff, which is the amount of time after a customer places an order when they can still cancel free of charge. This is not mandatory, but we recommend allowing customers to cancel several hours after submitting an order.
- Select how many days in advance a customer can order before a delivery day. You can allow orders to be placed for any future date if you have products that you know will always be available or choose to limit orders to be placed only for this week or next week to give you time to ensure that your product availability and inventory are always accurate.
- Decide which days you would like to deliver to this area and if you would like this to be a recurring delivery day. Choose a time window so your customer know when to expect their order
- Finally, add a delivery fee and the minimum order value (the amount a customer needs to order to qualify for a delivery). If you are unsure of how to choose the minimum amount or minimum order value, check out What is a Minimum Order Value and Why is it Important?
- Add a delivery fee. If you are unsure of how to choose a delivery fee, check out How to Determine Your Delivery Fee
- When you are finished, save the plan and select the status “live” when you are ready for customers to start ordering with this delivery option.
-
For wholesale subscriptions, you can assign this plan to a specific wholesale group
